Musical criticism: music that is heard, written and lived
Fernando Navarro is journalist at EL PAÍS since 2007, where he is responsible for the music area since 2015. He is also the author of the blog La Ruta Norteamericana. For years, he has collaborated as a music critic in various programs of the Cadena SER such as Hoy por Hoy, A vivir que son dos días, Hora 25 and Sofá Sonoro. In addition, he is a contributor to the journals Ruta 66 and Efe Eme. He has published the musical book Acordes Rotos and the novel Martha. Música para el recuerdo. He is also a professor at the Escuela de Escritores of Madrid where he teaches the annual course ‘Crítica musical’.
